۷۸-تحلیل مصداق های شرور و نسبت آنها با خداوند

The issue of the inconsistency between the reality of evil and the attributes of God is expressed in syllogistic form, where the minor premise is “evils exist in the world”. This article aims to analyze what can truly be considered as evil. It will be shown that some analyses, such as the relativity of evil, the benefits of evil, and the non-existence of evil, challenge many instances of what is perceived as evil. As a result, anything we label as evil might not be considered evil when viewed in relation to the entirety of the universe. We will then demonstrate that what can truly be identified as instances of evil are either “adversities” or “deficiencies” encountered by individuals, irrespective of their relation to the whole universe. It will be argued that adversities are an inherent necessity in a world where change is its intrinsic characteristic. Deficiencies are also an inherent necessity in this material world, where multiplicity is its essential attribute. Hence, eliminating “adversities” and “deficiencies” from this world and for any individual would entail a contradiction, which cannot be attributed to God’s omnipotence.
